Platform for Learning: Introduction to Computer Science CS 160

The Platform for Learning project is an initiative from Oregon State University and particularly the College of Engineering to explore new ways to teach science and engineering in the classroom and beyond. It involves several departments from the COE.

This part of the project uses LEGO robots to teach engineering concepts to students and give more interesting hands-on to students. The purpose is also to keep them enthousiastic about learning engineering. LEGO RCX Robots are used in CS 160 Introduction to Computer Science as well as in the Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Department.
